Askii Release Note – v1.0.36 – March 03, 2026

Askii just got a lot more capable and organized—so you can research deeper, build faster, and keep your workspace clean and secure

:sparkles: What’s New? (The Highlights)

  • Deep Research: You can now run a full Gemini-powered deep research flow , including research plans, grounding references, media uploads, and a canvas-style report that’s easier to read and share. This helps you go from question → evidence-backed output with less manual work.
  • Canvas Document Mode: We added a new canvas/artifact editing experience with version management, a TipTap editor, and improved markdown handling—so documents stay structured and easier to iterate on without losing prior drafts.
  • Prompt construction overhaul: We consolidated prompt construction into a unified MessageBuilder backend (in a 4-phase rollout), removing fragile front-end system prompt assembly. That means more consistent results and fewer “why did it respond differently?” moments.
  • Image generation models: Admins can now manage available image generation models , and users can select which model to generate with—making it easier to balance quality, style, and cost depending on the task.
  • Shared assets organization: Shared resources now support corporate-level sections for knowledge, prompts, assistants, and connectors—so teams can scale without everything turning into a single messy list.
  • Pinned assistants: Group admins can pin assistants for their team members, making the most important helpers easier to find and use consistently.
  • Askii memory improvements: Memory now supports search + relations queries integrated with tool-selection context, helping Askii recall and connect the right information at the right time (with fewer irrelevant tool calls).
  • Skills for assistants: Assistants can now be configured with Skills , giving you more control over what an assistant is allowed to do and how it behaves—especially helpful for team or role-based assistants.
  • SEO & homepage updates: We added SEO meta tags , a Get Started waitlist page , and a data protection policy to improve discoverability and make key trust information easier to find.
  • Cache optimization: We improved performance with cached token stats on the dashboard , better tool-call caching, and we moved datetime context into the user message for cleaner, more reliable processing.
  • Multiple bug fixes: We fixed several issues to keep things smooth and safe, including cross-group prompt leakage , Docker build problems, PDF handling quirks, and localization improvements—so your experience is more reliable across teams and languages.
